Τhey experiment with marble and create refined artefacts- this is how the sisters’ duo, Niki & Zoe Moskofoglou express their love for this diverse material.

Niki is an architect MArch with an academic training in design, experience in architectural detailing and an instinct of how space can surpass mere function. Zoe is a Civil Engineer IEng MICE, with a background in high-end construction, specialized with an MSc in Sustainable Heritage and Landscapes. Niki & Zoe have been brought up in an environment where marble was correlated with the family’s work background. It dominates their childhood memories, with quarry visits considered a favourite pastime.
Combining their academic and professional skills, and with a deep understanding of marble, NM moved towards a more personal expression of form with object, while ZM applied her interest in landscape heritage. In 2009, the duo NZM founded the marble atelier on·entropy in 2009 in Athens & London.

In 2011, they participated in 100% Design Show as Emerging Designers. Their work was leaving a mark, while they carried on with international exhibitions (London Design Festival, Salone del Mobile- Milan). Their pinnacle was their participation in first London Design Biennale, designing and curating the Greek exhibit, with Wallpaper*& Νew York Times accrediting the Greek pavilion as 1 of the top 5 entries.
From quarries to the sculptors, NZM overlook every stage of the production. They are actively involved with the scientific aspect of materials and their place of origin, seeing marble as a bridge between landscape & culture.
NZM believe that through our sense we can perceive the impact of materials, surpassing what is visible to the eye.
